Hey guys, for today’s DIY Wednesday, I don’t have a DIY project for you, but rather a very useful resource for DIY needs. It is a definite source of inspiration for me and for fellow editor River. The Pinterest website is a website described as a “visual pinboard.”
Two of my favorite categories on Pinterest are the DIY section, which is full of simple tutorials for projects and the food section which has a plethora of food porn images that I could salivate over for hours.
To get started in the community, a user creates different boards and then pins different photos within that board with comments and links to the original website. You have to request an invite to the website, but once you’re invited, happy pinning!
PS, there’s also an app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch for inspiration on the go
